Kendal Leisure Centre

Kendal Leisure Centre on Burton Road, close to Kendal Castle, is a real community hub - alongside a gym and 25-metre pool with a learner pool, there's a 900-seat theatre venue hosting comedy shows and exhibitions, making it much more than a typical leisure centre. Family Fun Swim sessions come packed with toys and floats for quality pool time together (note: not included in direct debit memberships, so book ahead), and there's a sports hall for badminton, basketball and pickleball, plus kids activities and birthday parties. The pools are also available for private hire every Saturday afternoon. With Changing Places facilities on site, it's a genuinely inclusive, all-under-one-roof family destination.
