Attraction Information
Taste adventure in the Lake District with Windermere Canoe and Kayak. Located on the shores of England's longest lake, they can provide everything you need to enjoy the great outdoors on a family holiday or a weekend away.
With the staff all qualified instructors, they're happy to pass on any of their specialist knowledge that will help you make your most of your time around and on the lake. You can even hire them for a guided tour if you really want to get to know the area.
If you're a water-lover, take a canoe or kayak out to one of Windermere's many islands and enjoy a picnic. The boats are simple to get the hang of and don't require previous experience. While on the island, why not enjoy the sights of the brave souls attempting the stand-up paddleboards? The sport makes it easy to get around in the water but it's not as simple to pick up as kayaking! Stand-up paddleboarding is strictly for those aged 8 and above.
Bike along the shores of the lake if you'd prefer not to get wet, and see the sights from the traffic-free trails. Windermere Canoe and Kayak also provide bikes for children as well as trailers and tag-along bikes.
