Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital Visitor Centre

Tiggywinkles is the world's leading wildlife hospital dedicated to the rescue and rehabiliation of all British wildlife. We take in and treat over 13,000 sick, injured and orphaned animals every year with the aim of getting them back out into the wild after rehabiliation. Any animal that is unable to be released will stay at the hospital where it can live out its life in near natural surroundings while still benefiting from ongoing monitoring.

The Visitor Centre is a place to meet some of our rescued residents in our tranquil sanctuary and learn about the work carried out at the wildlife hospital. There is a behind-the-scenes viewing window where you can see our life-saving wildlife nurses in action, a unique hedgehog memorabilia museum, plus a playground, arts and crafts centre and kiosk serving ice cream, drinks and snacks.

There's a unique hedgehog museum where you can play Sonic video games, an arts and crafts centre for the artistic ones and even and activity pack to complete as you go round! With educational boards at every enclosure, the kids will be learning without even knowing..! Younger kids love our playground area with climbing frames and ride-on toys. All our visitors can enjoy a visit to the Gift Shop before they go home.
