Back by popular demand. Experience tree top thrills in a whole new light across 25 locations for a limited time between 17th October and 9th November. Go Ape Sundown Adventures offer a new level of forest fun in the dark. Become a creature of the night as you climb through the canopy on a high ropes course lit with colourful lights. Test your skills on tree top crossings and experience the thrill of a zip wire ride into the darkness. It's a unique opportunity to enjoy the forest's beauty and experience the adrenaline rush of adventure after dark. The experience takes one to two hours, and the Go Ape team are around to help throughout. It starts with a safety briefing and harness fitting. For ages 6 and up (minimum height 1.2 metres) this is an adventure that will delight kids and adults alike.

Fun Activities For Thrill Seekers

Challenge yourself to cross 14m platforms, tackle daredevil intricate crossings, massive Tarzan Swings and zip-wires that will leave you buzzing. The day doesn’t have to end once your feet are back on the ground! But if you do prefer to keep your feet on the ground, you'll find plenty of walking trails the whole family can embark on - with a 325-hectare woodland right here! Not to mention you can enjoy a two-wheeled adventure and cycle around the woods.

There are three different Go Ape activities to choose from: the Treetop Adventure, the brand new Treetop Adventure Plus and the Treetop Challenge. 

Treetop Adventure is designed with mini monkeys in mind, so anyone over 1m tall can do it. Don’t let that fool you though! With 429 metres of high-rope crossings, wobbly bridges, rope ladders and a cracking 85-metre zip wire finale, it packs a punch!

Looking to level up? Take the thrill even higher on the brand-new Treetop Adventure Plus course. Designed for children above 1.2m and over 6 years, young explorers can experience more independence on Treetop Adventure Plus. There are taller platforms, more daring crossings that wobble and weave through the canopy and a solo zip-wire ride back to the ground.

The Treetop Challenge is for the most daring adventurers of all! Choose your path through the canopy, with specially designed adjustable difficulty levels and views across the beautiful Chiltern Hills. Whether you have the heart of a thrill seeker or you're testing the waters out! Don't worry, before you go up each person will get a safety induction.

Wave goodbye to your fear of heights and push through until the end - there's no better feeling than conquering your fears! These aren't just confidence-building activities for children, Go Ape is an adventure for adults too, so go on mum & dad, grab that harness and get up there!

Love nature? Once back down on the forest floor, explore Wendover Woodland Park where you’ll find lots of vibrant scenery and budding wildlife, including the smallest bird in Europe, the rare Firecrest. At Wendover, you are surrounded by a wild landscape with heaps of colour, making it a lovely location to explore with little ones.
