Cockfields Farm Park is a family-run business, located in Greater Manchester on the border of Ashton Under Lyne and Oldham.

Along with the chance to meet resident farm animals, they also offer an array of daily activities, an amazing playground a bouncy pillow and a full day out.

Watch out for popular Special Events including Pick Your Own Pumpkin, Amazing Christmas Experience and lots more.

They are open 7 days a week, have a Large Free Car Park, a Café, a Picnic Area and a Gift Shop.

Alternative Family Day Out

Cockfields firmly believe that children thrive on imagination & Creative play, which is reflected in their amazing indoor role-play activities. Outside, they have Swings, Slides, the Warren Tunnel Play, the Famous Jumping Pillow, the Beach Area, the Climbing Frame and the Carousel.

As well as Daily Activities, we often have Special events which we are very well known for including Pick Your Own Pumpkin Patch & Amazing Christmas Experience

Animal Encounters

They have gentle animal encounters running throughout the day, including the Cuddle Corner where you can snuggle a bunny or Guineapig. For the more exotic - attend one of the reptile talks and meet the lizards, snakes, tortoise or other crawlies here at Cockfields.

They have a large animal barn - where you can feed silly pigmy goats, sheep, cows or alpacas.

You can also see larger animals in the field from the Farm Tractor ride!

We are very easy to find. Located on the border of Ashton Under Lyne and Oldham in Greater Manchester. We are only three miles from Ashton & Oldham Mumps tram stops. For Sat Nav’s insert OL6 8AR We have a large free car park. PUBLIC TRANSPORT If you are wishing to get to us by bus from Oldham the 425 Service stops at Abbeyhills Road stop which is just a 6 minute walk to Cockfields Farm Park. From Manchester / Ashton the 231 service from Piccadilly Gardens and stops at Lichfield Avenue which is just a 15 minute walk from Cockfields Farm Park.

By Car

Cockfields Farm Park is located between Ashton-under-Lyne and Oldham, with easy access from the M60.

From the M60: Exit at Junction 23 (Ashton-under-Lyne) or Junction 22 (Oldham), then follow local signs towards Lees/Newmarket Road.

By Train

The nearest train stations are:

Ashton-under-Lyne Station – around 10 minutes away by taxi.

Stalybridge Station – around 15 minutes away by taxi.

By Bus

From Oldham: Take the 425 Service. Get off at Abbeyhills Road stop, then it’s a short 6-minute walk to Cockfields Farm Park.

From Manchester / Ashton: Take the 231 Service from Manchester Piccadilly Gardens. Get off at Lichfield Avenue stop, then walk around 15 minutes to reach Cockfields Farm Park.
