Cockfields Farm Park is a family run business, located in Greater Manchester on the border of Ashton Under Lyne and Oldham.
Along with the chance to meet our resident farm animals, we also offer an array of daily activites, an amazing playground and bouncy pillow and a full day out.

Cockfields Farm Park is located on the Border of Ashton Under Lyne & Oldham in Greater Manchester. We are family run business and have been for over 60 years! In this time we have wore a few hats including Farm Shop, Potato Merchants , Garden centre and more recently one of the Largest Aquatic Stores in the country.
In 2008 we acquired a few Pygmy goats as an attraction for the Farm shop and Cockfields Farm Park was born. Year on Year the farm park grew and more and more animals were added as well as a selection of play areas. In 2017 we decided to close down the farm shop & Aquatic Store and solely focus on being a Farm Park . In the short time since then our growth has been phenomenal! Everyday is different down on the farm and we pride ourselves on the very interactive activities we run that suit children and adults of all ages, Wash a Pig, Bottle Feed the Goats, Cuddle a Guinea Pig, Groom a Rabbit, Meet the Snakes, Lizards and Tortoises, Groom the Donkeys, Meet the Bugs & Creepy Crawlies to name just a few.
In this time we have also expanded our Play offering both indoors and outdoors. At Cockfields we firmly believe children thrive on imagination & Creative play which is reflected in our amazing indoor Role Play Activities. Outside we have Swings, Slides, the Warren Tunnel Play, Our Famous Jumping Pillow, Beach Area, Climbing Frame and Carousel.
As well as our Daily Activites we often have Special events which we are very well know for including our Pick Your Own Pumpkin Patch & Our Amazing Christmas Experience .

Animal Encounters
We have gentle animal encounters running throughout the day, Including our Cuddle Corner - snuggle a bunny or Guineapig. For themore exotic - attend one of our reptile talks and meet the lizzards,snakes,trotoise or other crawlies here at Cockfields.
We have a large animal barn - where you can feed our silly pigmy goats, sheep, cows or alpacas.
You can slo see our larger animals inthefeild from the Farm Tractor ride!

We are very easy to find. Located on the border of Ashton Under Lyne and Oldham in Greater Manchester. We are only three miles from Ashton & Oldham Mumps tram stops. For Sat Nav’s insert OL6 8AR We have a large free car park. PUBLIC TRANSPORT If you are wishing to get to us by bus from Oldham the 425 Service stops at Abbeyhills Road stop which is just a 6 minute walk to Cockfields Farm Park. From Manchester / Ashton the 231 service from Piccadilly Gardens and stops at Lichfield Avenue which is just a 15 minute walk from Cockfields Farm Park.
