Get back to nature and experience the best of the Buckinghamshire countryside in a fun-filled farm park day out at Hogshaw Farm & Wildlife Park. Breathe in that fresh countryside air, meet all sorts of furry and feathered friends, and burn off some steam with brilliant indoor and outdoor play options.
With a focus on rare breed farm animals and European wildlife species, they're a Rare Breed Survival Trust-approved farm park!
Things To Do
The whole family will have an awesome adventure here! There's a daily programme of close-up animal encounters with farm favourites, meaning you can get hands-on with cute, cuddly and curious creatures! Set in 44 acres of beautiful countryside, there is also plenty of space to relax and play safely.
What Can You See?
In the Farm Zone, you can see sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, cows, alpacas and donkeys. For a truly immersive experience you can also wander through the Goat Walkthrough or Chicken Walkthrough areas where farm friends will come to greet you!
In Creature Corner, you'll find rabbits, guinea pigs, tortoise, ferrets, polecats, pine martens, skunk and a whole host of other little creatures, insects and invertebrates. If you like snakes and spiders, this is the place to be!
In the Wildlife Zone, you can meet species that are at risk, or in breed and release programmes, such as their Scottish Wildcat, as well as other wonderful wildlife such as Lynx, Wallabies, Reindeer, Silver Fox and birds of prey.
Psst...all tickets include a daily bird display where you can see owls and kestrels take flight, and learn more about these fascinating birds.
But that’s not all, get outside and explore the nature discovery trails around you. There's plenty of outdoor adventure, with bouncy pillows, pedal go-karts, exciting sand & water play area, and giant carousel swing! With indoor softplay too, there is something to occupy even the most active families, come rain or shine!
Tickets also include a daily programme of animal talks from the friendly team of farm keepers, plus hands-on sessions such as petting goat kids, rabbits and donkey grooming.
Animal Experiences
Ever wanted to get hands-on with your favourite farm animal or get really close to a special wildlife species? Well, now you can! With small group and private sessions available with both farm animals and wildlife, these VIP encounters are the ideal add-on treat for your farm day out. See website for full details, but current experiences include meeting the Silver Fox, feeding the reindeer, or petting the pygmy goats.
For a more immersive experience, why not choose the Farm Keeper experience, where you will help out with feeding, grooming and daily checks....with animal cuddles also included of course!
Seasonal Events
The family fun never stops, with Hogshaw Farm & Wildlife Park seasonal events. From circus skills at May Half Term to a magical Wizard School at Halloween, and all sorts of seasonal fun inbetween, there is a year's worth of exciting treats to explore and enjoy.

Spring on the Farm - Easter school holidays

Meet Spring babies, such as newly hatched chicks and bouncy lambs. Enjoy bottle feeding the lambs and petting other farm babies, as well as all the usual fun of the farm. P.S See if you can spot the Easter Bunny too!
Hogfest - May half term

Have a go at circus skills, ride the miniature train and try your hand at festival games. This is half term with a countryside fete vibe!
Summer on the Farm - July & August

Enjoy summer in the countryside with plenty of free range fun, tractor rides, summer splash pool, soft scoop ice cream and straw bale maze.
Hogshaw School of Witchcraft & Wizardry - October half term

A magical week of wizarding fun, with pumpkin decorating, potion making and curious creature encounters. Every child gets a free pumpkin!
Christmas at the Farm - from end of November

Father Christmas is visiting the farm to spread festive cheer! Meet real reindeer, make a wish, plant a mini Christmas tree, make magic reindeer food, decorate gingerbread, collect a special present and of course enjoy a private meeting with the big man himself! It's where Christmas memories are made!
Food & Drink
There's fresh homemade food in the Farm Kitchen and Cafe that's supplied by local producers and freshly picked fruit and veg from the on-site walled garden! Both eateries also serve great coffee, hot and cold drinks and tasty cakes, bakes and snacks.
You can enjoy sweet treats like soft scoop ice cream from their ice cream shed too!
Gift Shop
If you'd like to take something home to remember your day, head to the gift shop and grab some nature-inspired toys, games and gifts for both kids and adults!
Farm & Wildlife
Hogshaw Farm isn't just your ordinary farm park! Of course, it has all of your farm favourites like goats, piglets and donkeys. However, it is also home to an interesting collection of wildlife species not usually seen elsewhere, such as Lynx, pine marten, wallabies, birds of prey and reindeer.

By Bus
You can board local bus services from Aylesbury town centre towards Quainton, then take a short taxi ride to Hogshaw Farm.
By Car
Hogshaw Farm is located on Claydon Road, near Aylesbury (HP22 4RJ), just off the A41 and within easy reach of the M40. Free parking is available on-site.
