Things To Do at Godstone Farm & Play Barn
Godstone Farm offers a day of wholesome farmyard fun with over 500 animals to discover during your visit. Your welcome leaflet and map will give you times of animal interactions throughout the day, so make sure you keep this with you to take advantage of it!
There's also a fabulous farm trail to explore, such as The Reptile House, Animal Interaction Barn, Rabbit Walk, Pond Walk, and Animal Barn, which has lots of fascinating animals to discover. You'll find all sorts of wholesome family fun here, whether with the baby animals, exploring the stunning views of the working farm or playing on the outdoor playground!
There's lots of friendly animals to see around the farm, including horses, donkeys, llamas, alpacas, goats, sheep, pigs, cows, meerkats, a skunk, rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets. Visit the Reptile House for some reptile encounters and discover bearded dragons, iguanas, snakes, geckos, and an assortment of mini beasts and arachnids. Many birds are around the farm, including chickens, ducks, turkeys and peafowl. It's the perfect day out for nature lovers!
You can also engage with animal experiences, from brushing, oiling and feeding piggies to feeding meerkats and learning about cool and scaley reptiles!
Play Areas & Family Friendly Activities
Godstone Farm goes beyond just adorable animal encounters. The farm boasts a variety of activities and super fun play areas designed to cater to kids of all ages! Head to the adventurous playground where the kids can enjoy climbing frames, giant slides, and swings, spending hours of energetic fun! There's also a giant sandpit with diggers and sand toys where kids can unleash their creativity.
There's plenty to keep you entertained inside, too - Surrey's biggest soft play centre has opened at Godstone Farm, spanning 351.8 square metres, featuring four tiers and seven slides, with a capacity for 200 kids. The Indoor Playbarn at Godstone Farm also has dedicated areas for babies, toddlers and bigger kids, making it the perfect place to burn off steam!
They also offer SEND playbarn sessions on the first Saturday of every month and SEND sessions for their Christmas experience. All details are available on the website.
Leave time for some ball zone fun in Wiglet's Play Village, where there are lots of outside play areas, including a huge adventure playground! Outside, you'll also find Kate's Garden, where you can enjoy wild play and a kids' own construction zone.
But wait...do you hear that? It sounds like a ROAR! Did you know Godstone Farm has a World of Dinosaur Discovery Trail?! You can discover 40 life-sized dinosaurs based on the kid's book series The World of Dinosaur Roar by Peter Curtis. Hear the T-Rex ROAR, and meet the Triceratops, Stegosaurus AND the Diplodocus, too!
Food & Drink
Feeling peckish? Head to Wiglet's Cafe for a selection of light bites and snacks, from vegan meatballs and pulled pork to Mediterranean chicken! You'll find a range of food and refreshments here.
At The Courtyard Kitchen, you can sink your teeth into jacket potatoes, beef burgers, katsu curry, fries, and even gyozas! Then, wash it all down with hot or cold drinks, from hot chocolate and tea to smoothies and juices!
You're welcome to bring your own picnic if you prefer, but we suggest having a spot of lunch in the Courtyard Kitchen restaurant or enjoying a great choice of take-away options in Wiglet's Cafe in the Play Barn.

By Car
From London: Take the M25 and exit at Junction 6 for the A22 towards Eastbourne/Caterham/Godstone. Follow the signs for Godstone, and the village is just a few minutes' drive from the motorway exit. The journey typically takes around 45-60 minutes, depending on traffic.
From Brighton: Head north on the A23 and merge onto the M23 towards London. Exit the M23 at Junction 9 and follow the A264 towards East Grinstead. From there, take the A22 towards Godstone. The drive will take approximately 45 minutes.
By Train
The nearest train station is Caterham Station.
From London: Take a train from London Victoria or London Bridge to Redhill Station. The journey takes about 30-35 minutes. From Redhill, you can either take a 10-minute taxi ride or catch a bus to Godstone (details below).
By Bus
From Redhill: The Southdown 410 bus service runs regularly from Redhill Bus Station to Godstone Village Green. The journey takes around 15-20 minutes. This is an ideal option if you're arriving at Redhill Station by train and want a direct route into the village.
From Caterham: The Southdown 409 bus connects Caterham with Godstone, offering a scenic route through the Surrey countryside. The journey takes about 20-25 minutes and drops you off in the centre of Godstone Village.
