The Bucks Goat Centre
Aylesbury, BuckinghamshireAbout The Bucks Goat Centre
Situated within the Vale of Aylesbury, The Bucks Goat Centre is your local animal attraction. Visitors are encouraged to feed and interact with the team of friendly animals within a safe and caring environment.
There are some exciting new additions to the BGC animal family! This month, we welcomed Bonnie, a new English Spot rabbit. Also new to the team is Wilbur, our four-month-old Kunekune pig, who arrived in April. Staff are currently enjoying teaching him how to walk on his lead.
At the Bucks Goat Centre we also provide a safe learning environment where children, young people and vulnerable adults can develop and grow their confidence and self-esteem through the education of animal welfare and management.
This friendly open farm environment has plenty to offer for all ages. As well as the day-to-day animal visits, there are a whole host of additional activities provided on and off site:
- Animal encounters & experiences
- Mini farmer sessions
- 1-1 or group SEND sessions
- Alternative provisions
- Birthday parties
- School trips
- Village fete's
- Visits to residential homes with our friendly animals
- 'Goats for Schools' project
- Weddings
- Film work
Accessibility
The Bucks Goat Centre has a mixture of pathways, hard standing and grass terrains on site. It’s worth noting that when the weather is fine and the grass is dry, wheelchairs and buggies can easily access all areas. Though during the colder, wetter months, unfortunately, some parts of the farm cannot be accessed in wheelchairs and buggies.
