About Yard Ball

Remember when football wasn’t about leagues, linesmen and matching socks? It was about knocking on your mate’s door to see who was coming out. It was jumpers for goalposts, cracked pavements, shouting “car!” and moving everything two metres to the left. It was arguing over whether that definitely hit the lamppost first. It was last goal wins. It was playing until it was too dark to see properly and insisting you could still see perfectly fine.

There were no bibs. No formations. No parents analysing your first touch on the drive home. Just imagination, improvisation and the constant belief that the next shot you tried might be the best one you’ve ever hit.

The UK's First Indoor Nostalgic Football Experience

Yard Ball is a first-of-its-kind indoor street football experience in Sheffield. Packed with creative, street-inspired challenges designed for families, friends and groups to compete, get creative and create new memories together.

Take aim at a top barrel. Chip the ball through a car boot window. Smash a shot into top bins. Test your power on the speed shot challenge. Maybe even stick one through a pub window! Every challenge earns points, and every player finds their own way to win. Whether that’s with skill, flair, clever thinking or the occasional glorious fluke. Every kick feels like you’re in Wayne Rooney’s Street Striker, but this time, it’s real, and it’s gritty.

The best part? You don’t have to be the next Premier League star to get stuck in. That’s Yard Ball: pure fun with a football, a place where you can just be free and enjoy the game like it’s meant to be played. For parents, it’s a throwback. For kids, it’s a whole new world to explore. It’s creative, inclusive and packed with feel-good competition.

It’s football, but not as you know it. It’s challenges, imagination and big celebrations - all under one roof in Sheffield.
