Have you ever wanted to pet, groom, hand feed or feel the horns of highland cattle? Well here is your chance! Enjoy our ultimate highland cow tour, taken around the farm, in our All Terrain Vehicle or trailer to interact with our large fold of breeding Highlanders, plus their young calves, grazing the meadows above Sheffield as you learn about this hardy native breed and the role they play here. Learn about their hierarchy & habits, and observe the family bonds & behaviour.

This family-friendly farm experience is all about our glorious pedigree fold of Scottish Highland Cows in Sheffield, South Yorkshire on the edge of the Peak District, England’s first National Park.
At the start of the tour we will meet outside the farm shop and begin with an introduction talk, where you'll learn about the history of the farm, followed by a short safety briefing.
Then hop onto our weather-proof passenger trailer and enjoy an interactive and educational Highland Cow Safari into the grassy meadows where the rest of the fold of highland cows graze all year round. From the trailer, you’ll have plenty of time to photograph or video, these stunning cattle with their magnificent horns, long shaggy coats and flowing fringes (dossens) that cover their face and eyes.
The knowledgeable farmer will tell you facts about the breed, you can learn their names and all about their different personalities.
Feel free to ask the farmer any questions that you may have about our pedigree cattle.
Mini Moo Meet and Greet
Come to the farm in Sheffield, South Yorkshire on the edge of the Peak District, and meet one of our young Highland Show Cows!
In this 30-minute session, you will get up close and personal with the mini moo, giving you the opportunity to stroke, brush, feed and take lots of photos!
