Ice Sheffield

For young children, Ice Tots is a great way to start their ice-skating journey. These lessons are suitable for 2-4 year olds and will help to grow their confidence and skills on the ice in a fun and friendly environment. One adult must accompany each child.

For children over 5, there's a comprehensive programme of ice-skating lessons, split by ability level from beginners through to experts. There are also dance lessons on the ice, as well as figure skating lessons too. Children can learn skills such as forwards and backwards crossovers in a figure of 8, forward outside spiral on a curve, spin on one foot, Waltz Jump, and more!

For the higher level dance and freestyle skaters, there are Patch Ice sessions which are specifically designed to accommodate fewer skaters, allowing practice time for programmes and coaching.

Ice Hockey lessons are also available. If your child wants to learn how to play the fastest team sport in the world, these classes teach them how to skate using hockey skates, edge control, puck handling skills, shooting skills and rules of the game - not to mention they'll have great fun along the way.

Ice Sheffield is also home to the Sheffield Steeldogs, providing exciting ice hockey matches for spectators. As well as playing their home games here, they also train at Ice Sheffield.

Off the ice, the Core Bar Restaurant will help to keep you refreshed during your visit, serving a variety of drinks, meals and snacks at the rink side.

There’s also Willies, where you can shop for all the ice hockey and ice skating equipment you might need – whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, Willies have everything you need to get out on the ice and have fun.

For those seeking more than just skating, Ice Sheffield offers two meeting and conference rooms available for hire - the Boardroom and the Glacier Suite. The former has space for up to 20 people, while the latter can host up to 100.

There is ample parking and modern changing facilities for your convenience.
