Weston Park Museum boasts extensive collections in many areas including social, natural and global history, with a wealth of permanent and temporary exhibition galleries offering fascinating facts in large amounts. Ideal for curious school age kids and their enthusiastic grown-ups!
On the Activity Cart you can find quiz and activity sheets for a range of ages (including colouring in for the smalls) themed around the existing galleries to help keep kids interested and maximise their learning. There are toys and story books in the Under 4s' activity boxes too, and Mondays during term time you can drop in to a Little Explorers' Creation Station session and enjoy some creative arts and crafts for £5 a session.
Outside you can find 4 differing length family trails to enjoy, which are named Material World, Hide And Seek, It's All About Sheffield and Long Long Ago, respectively. You can pick up a trail map at reception or pop through the link and download a copy to print at home, they're free!
Plus, having recently been awarded over half a million pounds for refurbishment you can be sure there will be big plans for this place shortly!
