Weston Park Sheffield
Sheffield, South YorkshireAbout Weston Park Sheffield
Weston Park is a place where you can ‘wind the kids up and release' as this is a family friendly museum with four different Family Trails to follow on an exciting journey around the different displays. They hold lots of special events and creative activities for families each month and especially during the school holidays so there will always be something to do together when you visit. The Activity Cart will help even the little ones explore the galleries using gallery themed activity sheets, with items to spot and pictures to colour in. For visitors aged 4 and under, there are also special activity boxes, containing toys and story books to help them delve deeper into the museum. There are a number of permanent exhibitions such a ‘Natural Connections', which looks at how green spaces connect, and ‘What on Earth!' where you can come face to face with a T Rex! You can also learn about topics ranging from the history of Sheffield to Punch and Judy. Check online to find out about the temporary exhibitions that will be on display when you visit.
