The permanent metalwork collection is one of the finest in the whole world and contains beautiful items that have been collected from every continent. There are also various items that Sheffield is famous for, such as cutlery and tableware. Look out for the turtle soup tureen!
The Ruskin collection is over 130 years old and is designed to inspire creativity. It was created by an Victorian writer who searched for beauty in the world around him and wanted to share it with Sheffield's workers.
The other spaces are filled with a changing series of exhibitions on a variety of topics so check online before you visit to see what will be on display.
A number of events are held every month, some especially for families, including Saturday sessions, where you can do something hands on and fun with the kids.
