There is also plenty of traditional equipment such as swings and a large climbing frame. There is also a Fish Ladder, which is a rocky stream designed to encourage fish to swim upstream and bypass the 2 weirs on the river Sheaf, a Boating Lake, and of course the river itself, which is a great place for a stroll or a picnic. The park also has a large purpose built Skate Park, with kerbs, ramps and rails, plus an all weather 5 a side pitch, and a children's' cycle way with humps and bumps!
