Why crawl when you can climb? Awesome Walls Climbing Centre Beginners of all ages welcome and a great starting point for families, with a dedicated children's climbing zone and 2 bouldering areas.
There's plenty of scope for advancement and for the experienced to enjoy too, with over 300 routes across 104 lines, plus major 23m competition wall with 12m overhang! The lead walls are 14 to 15.5m high and an auto belay area is offered too. And as we're a new centre, we'll also be adding onto our existing facilities on a regular basis. We pride ourselves on delivering a first class service that will shine through from our staff to our facilities.
AWCC Sheffield has a cutting edge climbing wall design that factors in climbing for all walks (climbs!) of life. Whether it's your first visit or you're at competition standard we'll have something for you.
Over 14 years of climbing wall experience have gone into AWCC Sheffield. We hope you enjoy your visit and look forward to seeing you on a regular basis. If you feel we have missed anything or have any suggestions we'd love to hear from you.
AWCC Sheffield is the first climbing centre to be awarded 'National Performance Centre' status by the British Mountaineering Council. To meet this criteria we had to adhere to strict quality guidelines that greatly enhances the climbing experience for all.
Kids' Clubs, Birthday Parties, Schools, Groups all catered for. We also offer free membership, free WiFi and customer loyalty card.
