Attraction Information
Norfolk Heritage Park has 30 Hectares of Green Flag Award Winning Victorian Park with playgrounds for under 8s and over 8s, lots of sports pitches, and theCentre in The Park with a Cafe. It is open throughout the year and free to visit.
The Under 8s playground offers climbing, sliding and swinging while there is a separate more adventurous playground for over 8s. There are also football pitches, 2 bowling greens, and a Multi use games area. Health walks are held every Friday, and Junior football is available for kids under 14 years of age.
Or if you would like a interesting walk, the Park is part of the Norfolk Heritage Trail, which is a signed route linking various historical places and open spaces that have connections to the Dukes of Norfolk. There are also oreinteering courses to follow, plus a number of sculptures around the park to look out for. If you fancy a less active day out, there is plenty of space to relax in, plus a Wild Flower Garden to enjoy.
TheCentre in the Park, a purpose-built community building with a range of facilities including a Café, can offer respite from the weather, plus it has a Creche, fully accessible toilets including baby changing facilities, and a Youth Club.
Outdoor Events are hosted, including the free community event (Sheffield Fayre) over the August bank holiday weekend.
Opening Times
Open daily dawn until dusk. Cafe open daily 11am to 4pm Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
