Fired Arts Craft Cafe

Fired Arts is a family friendly hands-on crafts cafe where you come and get your art on! You can stamp, stencil, decopatch and paint to your hearts' content and create a masterpiece with all tools and materials provided plus books full of ideas and helpful staff should you feel a bit too spoilt for choice and in need of assistance. They also run great courses for crafty folks which include silk painting, batik, mosaics and felting. It's always best to book at weekends, school holidays and towards Christmas as naturally these times can be very busy. There isn't any time restriction to your visit though you should allow at least an hour; if you get really absorbed and don't finish before you've got to go then you're welcome back at a later date to add your finishing touches! They glaze and fire everything themselves on site so items will be ready for pick up after about a week. And don't overlook the cafe side, which offers homemade cakes including coconut and lime loaf, quadruple chocolate cake and lemon drizzle cake! Plus treat the kids (or yourself!) to a posh hot chocolate with marshmallows and flakes on: lush!
