About Somewhere Different
A fun family outting at Somewhere Different, right on the Moor of Sheffield city centre, giving you the chance to explore over 120 exhibits in our Gallery of Illusions, Puzzles & Games. Start by entering our Mirror Maze and the explore 2 floors of mind-bending interactive exhibits. Whether you want to put yourself in a human size bubble or see how steady your hand is on our large buzzer game, or prehaps get lost in our infinity room, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The Gallery is also educational as it involves many concepts from maths and science.
After your tour through the Gallery, your kids can run about in the Play Deck, where we have 2 speed slides, various "bases", a climing wall and a secret crawl tunnel. We have a couple of retro arcade games for the older kids too. The floor is conveniently red with some odd coloured squares for a fun game of "the floor is lava".
Parents can take an well earned rest in our Tea Room where you can have tea and cake, whilst keeping an eye on your kids. Our Red Velvet cake is exquisite!
End the day with a visit to our Squishy Fidget Shop, where kids can find a new favourite sensory toy at pocket money prices. We have squishy toys, stretchy toys, fluffy toys, clicky toys, and various other combinations. Whether its a latest craze toy, or for those who use squishy fidget toys to help self regulate, there is something for every kid.
Somewhere Different is for the whole family to enjoy, bring your kids or grandkids and have some fun.
