The West Somerset Railway has lots of new things on offer including the launch of an ‘Augmented Reality Heritage Hunter' App which is available to download for free for iOS and Android. Mix new technology with a family heritage day out learning about the railway and solving the clues in our augmented reality Treasure Hunt.

New events include St. George's Day Lunchtime Special, Ladies' Day, Bowlore Medieval Encampment, Halloween Ghost Trains.

To improve the visitor experience the railway is investing in the introduction of second wheelchair accessible 'standard' coach and new customer railway customer toilets at Minehead Station.

The key word is ‘Family' and with this in mind they have confirmed the meet and greet days for you to view online: enjoy special themed events, meet life size characters and more activities besides!
