South Wales Karting Centre

  • Bridgend
  • Outdoor
  • Ages 9+
  • Go Karting and Driving

Attraction Information

South Wales Karting Centre have a range of karts to suit both the novice driver or to test the more experienced, so it's guaranteed that there is something for everyone. Minimum drive age 8 years but they have a Twin Seater Kart for children under the age of 8 or those below the height limit.

The awesome tarmac track is a whopping 1050 meters in length with 9 corners to negotiate. The track is floodlit and there is live commentary on race days!

The Race Academy teaches beginners who are taking it seriously (it's fun, but it's serious fun) all the basics through to advanced driving techniques if you stick with it long enough. The Race Academy dates are widely spread however, so if you're catering to a bright but likely temporary enthusiasm then stick with the Arrive and Drive.

If you're travelling far then it should be noted these friendly folk will let you camp too, if you get permission first. Ask nicely!
