Attraction Information

Barry Island is famous for more than just Gavin and Stacey; it’s also home to Whitmore Bay.

This white, sandy Blue Flag beach is a small slice of Welsh paradise with plenty of amusement arcades, attractions and places to eat nearby. The ideal seaside spot has rock pools to explore within a clean, open beach that’s perfect for families. There’s also a stunning coastal walk if you want to enjoy the views and the invigorating sea breeze!

There are colourful beach huts or deck chairs to hire and dogs are permitted in the winter months, making it a good spot for a peaceful walk in a beautiful setting!

A wonderful expanse of glorious golden sands!
