Attraction Information
Best place to be when the summer heat strikes is at the beach, so cover the kids in sunscreen and head out for a day at Ladye Bay near Clevedon.
This pretty little beach is a quiet stretch of sand nestled between rugged rocks and cliffs, covered in lush vegetation. It's a beautiful location where you can enjoy the sun and work on your tan, while the little ones build sandcastles.
A lazy day at the beach is a firm family favourite - just unwind and enjoy the sun to the sound of kids playing and waves washing on the shore with a quiet “Woosh”. One thing you should know is that swimming at Ladye Bay isn't recommended if you're not a confident swimmer because of the strong tides. However, if you fancy watching a swimming competition, the beach hosts the annual 1-mile "Long Swim" to Clevedon Pier.
