Welcome to the UK's largest covered winter ice rink! No need to worry about the weather here, because nothing will ruin the fun! You'll find this fantastic winter treat in Weston Super Mare inside the Tropicana Building and it's the perfect family destination!
Things To Do
Did we mention that the ice rink is completely undercover? So, all skaters big or small can enjoy the ice in all weathers! You'll find multiple 45-minute skate sessions throughout the day, that run daily! So, there's plenty of chance to release your inner skater and enjoy the winter festivities. From Parent & Toddler to Quiet and Disco sessions - you'll find a session that suits you and your family.
Quiet Sessions
You can book these sessions on the ticketing site on selected weekends at 10:00 and during mid-week slots after Christmas too! Quiet sessions are perfect for those who would benefit from a more relaxed atmosphere that isn't too overstimulating. There will be no music played during these sessions and the capacity on the ice rink will be reduced further. Tickets start from £12.50.
Parent & Toddler Sessions
Their parent & toddler sessions are designed for children below the age of 5. You can even buy an adult ticket and your toddler skates for free!
Toddlers will be accompanied on the ice by a parent or guardian, as these sessions are an ideal way to introduce little ones to ice skating. Pushchairs are also allowed on the ice (please ensure your child is strapped in and secure at all times) and skate-aid hire is included in the price. You can book these sessions on the ticketing site, on selected mid-week slots.
Disco Session
The ever-popular disco sessions take place on selected Fridays - where you can boogie as you skate! These tickets are bookable on the ticketing site.
These disco sessions are also for adults only. Jam-packed with dance music to skate along to and no skate aids on the ice. If you think you have the energy, you can book a disco session back to back at a reduced cost.
Skate & Donate
On selected Thursday sessions at 8pm, all ticket proceedings will go directly to charities that Icescape have selected. You'll find volunteers at the venue to collect a minimum donation of £5 per ticket! Please ensure you have cash for these sessions.
Group Bookings & Exclusive Hire
Icescape has a great group discount of 10% for groups of 10 or more! If you're looking to go all out and have an exclusive hire of the whole ice rink, you can get in touch depending on availability!

Transport Information
From Weston-super-Mare Train Station:
Exit the train station and head towards the bus stops located outside the station.
Take the number 7 or 7A bus towards Worlebury.
Ride the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the Tropicana (Icescape) bus stop.
Icescape Tropicana is just a short walk from the bus stop.
By Car:
From the M5 Motorway:
If you're coming from the M5, take Exit 21 and follow the signs towards Weston-super-Mare.
Head west on the A370 towards Weston-super-Mare.
Continue on the A370, following signs to the town centre.
As you approach the town centre, follow signs for the seafront.
Icescape Tropicana is located on the seafront, close to the Grand Pier. There are nearby parking facilities available.
