Attraction Information
Blaise Castle and Play Area is a pretty magnificent park: 650 acre Grade II listed and Green Flag awarded. The play area is pretty special too, with 2 age zoned areas incorporating lofty climbing towers, nippy tube slides, an awesome zip wire, super high swings, a tree house climbing frame, roundabout, seesaw, trampoline, speaking tubes and of course the normal slide and swing stuff.
Away from the play you can easily lose a whole day exploring the heady mixes of terrain, including a deep limestone gorge hidden in the woods and ancient monuments steeped in folklore waiting to be rediscovered by the kids! This estate is often acknowledged as one of the most magical and romantic landscapes available in the West Country today.
Public picnic benches are set in a large grassed area so there's scope for a traditional outdoorsy lunch: plenty of room for running about with frisbees and balls. Both play areas are fenced so as to be dog free so while your pet's generally welcome in the park don't take them in there! Or else!
