Adventure Bristol's Tree Tops high ropes course is an exhilarating experience for everyone from 6 to 80 and beyond! With three different routes (easy, medium and hard) kids and big kids can all enjoy 1.5 fun-filled hours in a beautiful setting. Offering an exciting array of fun walkways, leaps, jumps, treezips (from tree to tree) and a thrilling zip wire to finish, it's the perfect place for a great day out!
With experienced instructors on hand to provide advice and encouragment (both on and off the ground!), everyone is sure to have a fabulous time.
LOCATION
Located in the stunning Ashton Court Estate woodland, the Tree Tops high ropes course is perfectly located near to the Clifton suspension bridge. Easily reachable on foot, by car and via public transport, it's a great place to experience high ropes fun close to the city of Bristol.
ON-SITE FACILITIES AND ATTRACTIONS
With two cafes, a golf course, deer park, and bike riding trails, the Ashton Court Estate offers a variety of options to make a visit to Tree Tops part of a great day out.

FAQS
The course is designed for all those 6 years and over. For those 6-8 they must be accompanied by an adult on the course. Those 8 plus can climb on there on with adult supersizing from the ground
Participants must be a minimum height of 1.2 m and a maximum weight of 115 kilos/ 18 stone.
We are open to the public every weekend throughout the year and every day in school holidays. Group bookings can be made for any date throughout the year.
Public sessions run for 1.5 hours.
Our course rules and safety information are included in the booking confirmation email. The instructor will also remind participants of these during the course briefing. Participation is therefore deemed acceptance of the course rules.
A state of the art auto-belay system ensures that the course is extremely safe. However, for your own safety:
- wear comfortable clothing suitable for climbing - preferably trousers or long shorts and no bare midriffs.
- wear sensible footwear - trainers are ideal.
- remove jewellery.
- tie back long hair.
We are an all weather venue and remain open in most conditions, apart from lightning, gales, heavy snow and ice. Should it be necessary to close the activity, we will endeavour to get in touch with the named contact for any bookings, to offer an opportunity to rebook or receive a refund.
Cafes and toilets are located at the main Mansion House and by the Golf Course car park.
Dogs are welcome on the land around the course.
We cater for all sizes of groups. Birthday parties can be booked online. For all other types of groups including schools, stags and hens and cororates, then please check out our Group Adventure pages or contact us to discuss your requirements.

Fantastic fun for the whole family. With three courses for those age 6 plus. Climb, zip and swing in Bristols number 1 outdoor attractions. (TripAdvisor 2024). Make it a day to remember, bring a picnic or buy a coffee/ lunch from the Mansion house cafe while the kids watch the deer after. Session cost £18 a head for an hour. We are Located in the stunning Ashton Court Estate woodland a short walk from Clifton over the Clifton Suspension bridge. We are open to the public and also offer amazing kids parties with a woodland party area afterwards.
