Attraction Information
Following its £1.6 million refurbishment the much-loved home of the North Somerset collection, Weston museum, is ready for you to explore!
Discover Weston’s fascinating natural history, visit a Victorian dentist and behold historic costumes, such as wedding dresses and Viking armor. You can experience a typical twentieth-century Westonian home at Clara's Cottage: a cottage next to the museum that was built all the way back in 1864. Take your family through its three rooms (Parlour, Kitchen, and Bedroom) which are displayed as they would have been when the building was occupied by Clara Payne and her family.
Come and enjoy an exciting journey of discovery as you learn about North Somerset’s past for free. Make sure to look out for the museum’s twilight, and night out at the museum events, where you can find out if the museum’s exhibits come to life in the evening.
