Attraction Information
The Downs are a gorgeous green escape on the edge of Bristol. There’s loads to keep you busy including horse riding, cycling, kite flying and football, as well as exploring the various regional trails.
While learning about wildlife protection in the area, be sure to visit some of the stunning local landmarks. An Iron Age hillfort or the Roman Road would be a great way to excite little minds, while the Clifton Observatory and camera obscura give a bird’s eye view of the Avon Gorge and nearby caves.
