About Puxton Park
Wondering where your next day out should be? Why not check out Puxton Park?
Puxton Park is in the heart of North Somerset's beautiful countryside and is home to an incredible variety of activities and attractions that guarantee fun for the whole family! From aerial climbing to the fast and furious slides, there is something for everyone. The park also includes an indoor adventure play zone with loads of fun features and a dedicated toddler area with a ball pool and mini fun, which is ideal for getting the kids out of the sun for a while! This 50-acre family adventure park is unlike any other!
Things To Do
Indoor Fun
Rain or shine, kids can burn off energy in the massive, three-storey Indoor Play Barn. Did you know Puxton Park's indoor play barn is one of the largest in the South West? The indoor play barn has fast and furious slides, pendulum rope swings, mouse tunnels, fireman's poles and obstacle courses!
Outdoor Fun
When the weather's nice, the Outdoor Adventure Area is a must-visit! Your little adventurers will have a blast exploring and playing with trampolines, zip lines, and obstacle courses. Tackle new heights in their exciting high ropes course, travel back in time with the Jurassic Jeeps course, ride on tractors, jump for joy on their huge bouncy pillow, and challenge the family to crazy golf! Visitors can also enjoy a giant maze, a giant fort, a boating lake, a horse and barrel ride, JCB play diggers and more! The possibilities are endless!
Oh, and remember to hop on the miniature railway! The train takes you around the lake and conservation area so you can see the adventure park in a different way!
Animal Zone
Any animal lovers here? Well then, you're in luck! Puxton Park is home to a variety of cute animals! Get up close with friendly farmyard animals like cuddly rabbits and guinea pigs during daily feeding and petting sessions! That's not all; you can meet a whole host of fun animals like meerkats, monkeys, alpacas and miniature Shetland ponies, as well as lots of exotic animals like snakes, cockroaches, tortoises and more!
The fun continues down at the milking parlour with live milking demonstrations, the falconry centre with daily flying displays, and their special owl encounter, so you've really got a full day's worth here! Plus, be aware there are a few coin-operated additional attractions scattered about, so remind the kids to take their pocket money, or the pocket it comes out of will be yours!
Puxton Park also has a fantastic ethos toward environmentalism! Some inspiring snippets you can point out to the kids include filtering rainwater for the animals to drink, recycling their own rubbish and using a timer and dinner switches, plus campaigning for a bus stop opposite them to encourage public transport, which they now have: so leave the motor at home and do the world a favour!
Did you know? Puxton Park has an award-winning Cheese Factory that makes award-winning Gorwydd Caerphilly and Pitchfork Somerset Cheddar using fresh milk from their own cows! You can see it being made into cheese firsthand, and you can even buy some from the Puxton Farm Shop and Butchers.
Puxton Park Farmshop
Stop by the farm shop to pick up fresh produce, including West Country cheese, eggs, milk, milkshakes, and a variety of seasonal fruit and vegetables. You'll also find a selection of fresh meat, free-range poultry, and delicious homemade treats like pasties, shortbread, and brownies.
