This long sandy strip is commonly referred to as "Weston-super-Mare's hidden gem". It’s located across the Bristol Channel from South Wales, just over 45 minutes’ drive from Bristol. It’s the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city in summer!
A lazy day at the beach is a firm family favourite - just unwind and enjoy the sun to the sound of kids playing and waves washing on the shore with a quiet “Woosh”. Want more fun? At Sand Bay you can also go horse riding, take your dog for a walk (or a swim!), and grab a delicious treat from the ice cream van.
