About Elsies Pottery Painting Barn
Elsies Pottery Painting Barn is the place to come and unleash (or even discover) your creative talents. You will spend a few hours in the barn using the lovely bright underglaze colours to paint your own pottery masterpiece from the wide range of bisque pieces.
They have a selection of fun shapes such as dragons, fairies, cars, animals and monsters, or plainer pieces such as plates and mugs for you to decorate as you wish. You leave the pieces at Elsie's where we will glaze and fire them in Big Bertha the kiln ready for you to pick up within a couple of weeks.
Even the smallest of children can create a masterpiece with their hand or footprints. It's a great activity for adults and children to work together on and the children will love the magic of how their piece of work transforms during the firing process. They will have a piece of artwork to treasure for a long time.
If you have a special occasion such as a birthday party you can hire Elsie's for your personal use. They will provide a selection of bisque pieces for your guests and make the birthday boy or girl their own personalised plate which can be signed by all the party guests and kept as a keepsake.
