The Little Explorers Activity Club
Market Harborough, LeicestershireAbout The Little Explorers Activity Club
The Little Explorers is an autism-friendly activity club where kids with special needs can have fun and socialise in a safe environment. They’ll have the chance to meet the resident animals (pony, goats, rabbits & cat) and get involved in child-led nature-inspired activities.
Communicating with animals through Animal Assisted Therapy and Play helps build your little ones’ confidence and makes them feel more independent. This approach has proven beneficial in a variety of conditions, including autism, ADD, ADHD, anxiety and depression. Kids have shown improvement in their concentration, social interaction and calmness.
Your curious young explorers will get to play in nature on special playground equipment, go on pony rides and they’ll learn to take care of the animals. Some of the kids’ favourite activities also include reading to the animals, goat agility and treasure hunts.
