Foxton Locks

Foxton Locks is a great place to take the kids for a walk. It’s a busy area bustling with people and canal boats. Enjoy a stroll up and down along the canal and stop for a meal at one of the local pubs (a couple of dog-friendly pubs available) - it’s the perfect family afternoon out!

More than 4,000 boats pass through Foxton Locks each year. Your little budding engineers will be fascinated by the sight of the locks being opened and closed, as boats travel up or down the river. Recreating the passing of the boats is something you can definitely include in playtime at home later on.
