Attraction Information
Sywell Country Park offers meadowland and lakeside walks, with a small arboretum of exotic trees and Edwardian buildings still surviving from its past role as a water supply reservoir with a water works heritage trail to guide you round.
There's a neat little Brockwood Woodland themed children's play area provided including sand and water play, plus open spaces for ball games and dog walking. Cycling is not permitted within the Park, so we're assuming that applies to scooters and skateboards too.
You can also visit the Amphibian Pond which has an accessible board walk from which you can spot loads of dragonflies, frogs and newts and happily Pond Dipping is permitted so you can have a little explore below water level too!
You can also ask for French Boules sets at the Rangers' Office or follow the Water Works Heritage Trail, explore the butterfly gardens or catch some tench in the coarse fishery! Absolutely loads to do, especially if you bring a long a picnic, hire a BBQ or add in a trip to the Pump House Cafe. Lovely!
