Attraction Information

Set in 12 scenic acres of rolling countryside in the charming village of Welford, is Mini Meadows Farm: a specialist breeder of unusual poultry and a thoroughly nice day out besides! It's best suited to smaller children, due to modest size and facilities, but if your older ones are young and heart and happy to tag along then they are of course warmly welcome!

Their lovely little children's farm area offers a fairly large array of cute, not quite so cute, small and not small at all farm animals, largely in covered display areas so you needn't let the weather put you off!

You can find guinea pigs and rabbits, llamas and alpacas, pigs, miniature horses and full size donkey and cows, plus loads of differing poultry.

There's also a rather modest climbing frame with a slide and swings, but this will only be interesting to younger kids.

If you've got much older types why not go learn about the amazing hybrid egg laying machines or see if they're interested in the Introduction to Chicken Keeping course?

Excellent farm 5 out of 5 stars

Not only can you feed all the animals, they have a place for the kids to play, not too expensive and great to be able to pet the animals. Thank you for a great time. Lovely friendly staff
