Adventure Zone - In the Adventure Zone, you can adventure in the treetops and brave the 90-metre course with rope bridges, cargo nets and tree trunks. Then you can experience the excitement of the snake-like Astroslide, which is an exhilarating ride for the whole family. Astroslide will have you screaming with excitement whilst you race your friends and family down the waves.
Thrill Zone - In the Thrill Zone, you'll find the park's more high-speed, fast-paced rides. For adrenaline junkies, twist and turn your way around Dinosaur Valley! This thrilling rollercoaster is one of the higher adrenaline rides at the park. Its turns are banked at a steep angle as you whizz along a figure-of-eight pattern through the legs of the mighty brontosaurus, enjoying many twists and turns along your journey. Perfect for those who like a bit of action!
The Thrill Zone is also home to the sweetest ride at Wicksteed, the scrumptious Honey Pot Bears! With loads of twists and turns, the Honey Pot Bears is a variation of the Cups and Saucers and is a well-known favourite for younger children and a real mini thrill ride.
Heritage Zone - The Heritage Zone offers traditional fairground rides like the beautiful Golden Gallopers carousel. So, pick your noble steed and take a gentle ride as far as your imagination allows. Take a ride around the beautiful natural parkland and the newly redeveloped lakeshore onboard the narrow gauge Wicksteed Park Railway. Since it opened in 1921, over 15 million people have taken to the rails.
Splash Zone - Get wet and wild in the Splash Zone, where you'll find the oldest water chute in Britain and one of the oldest surviving water-based rides in the world! Designed by Charles Wicksteed, The Water Chute has thrilled visitors at Wicksteed Park since 1926. Then take out to the waters in one of the rowing boats and explore the newly redeveloped lakeside and observe the wildlife whilst enjoying the fresh air.
It's not all about the rides at Wicksteed. The Park is located on 147 acres of beautiful parklands with lots of space to spread out, relax, and enjoy. So take your foot off the gas and pick a spot under the shade of a tree to read your favourite book or just watch the world go by.
