Attraction Information
Easily accessible in the heart of Barnsley town centre, the Cooper Gallery is the perfect place to spend a relaxing afternoon with the family.
It has recently undergone a major transformation doubling the size of the gallery, allowing more space for the little ones to have fun!
As well as interactives, puzzles and books children can also get creative in the drawing area. Here they can sketch their very own masterpiece.
For those eager for a voyage of discovery, they can pick up an explorers pack from reception and follow the animal trail. They will be supplied with all the equipment they need to track down the hidden creatures.
Visitors will often find children's activities taking place. Everything from sketch books clubs to clay making and face painting.
The new outdoor space is the perfect place to enjoy warm sunny days. Children can explore the area and find hidden treasure.
