Step Inside a Real Chocolate Factory at JJA Snack!
JJA Snack is a real, working chocolate factory where we make everything from chocolate bars and truffles to Easter eggs. Families and groups can step inside, see the factory in action, and learn all about where chocolate comes from.
If you love chocolate (and let’s be honest, who doesn’t?), this is the perfect experience! You’ll get to taste a variety of treats and even make and design your own chocolate bar.
But it’s not just about chocolate, it’s about STEM in action! JJA Snack is part of a group of companies that manufacture chocolate-making machines for brands like Cadbury, Mars, and Nestlé. Visitors get a behind-the-scenes look at how engineering, science, and technology come together to create the chocolate we all love. From temperature control and crystallisation to automated production lines, this experience is as educational as it is delicious.
We’re also passionate about inspiring the next generation of engineers. Seeing these machines in action sparks curiosity about mechanical design, automation, and food technology, showing young minds how creativity and engineering shape the world around us.
This is a great day out for families looking to make memories, have fun, and explore the science behind chocolate-making, all while getting a little messy with hands-on tasting and creating.

All led by an experienced chocolatier that will answer any questions and ensure you have an informative, fun and tasty experience!
