RSPB’s motto is ‘giving nature a home’, so welcome to the family abode at RSPB Old Moor!
This site of natural beauty is a brilliant way to get in touch with your surroundings, literally so with their scheduled ‘pond dipping’ outings! For those who aren’t familiar, pond dipping is where you’re invited to explore the aquatic habitat and observe the various creatures, creepies and crawlies! Kids will learn loads and enjoy having a splash.
Springtime treats involve a breathtaking view from the family hide, hearing the full chorus of birdsong in the bushes and a lovely stroll around Warbler Way. Wildlife trails would be a great way to explore the area, and an adventure playground makes for a fun stop off for your little wildlings.
