- Horse Riding and Stables
Whether riding a horse has always been a dream for your little ones, or they just want to try it out on holiday, Barrow Hall Stables is the place to go. They can offer single sessions or a full course of lessons for people aged as young as 4, and can suit any ability from total novices who've never ridden before to experienced riders.
They have 3 riding arenas onsite, stocked with jumping and dressage equipment, as well as training paddocks, showjumping paddocks, and a full cross country course. More confident riders will also love the all-weather canter track, but the on- and offsite hacking (a short walk) is suitable for most riders.
If deciding to ride in the beautiful Suffolk countryside was a last-minute decision, don't worry about getting the latest gear.
Barrow Hall Stables provide riding hats and boots suitable for riding for free during your lesson! As a British Horse Society-approved riding school, they employ the highest standards of teaching, horse welfare and customer care.
Why not meet the horses before you go? Barrow Hall Stables have a special section on their website where you can look at the horses and ponies before your lesson!
