Kingfisher Leisure Centre The leisure pool is ideal for a family visit as it not only has a nice fast flume for the big kids there's a toddler flume too! The 25m leisure pool also features a wave machine and the beach effect entrance to the pool makes it ideal for all users and a great place to hang out with the little ones and just catch the very end of the waves! You've got to use the link to check the session timetable when planning though as the main fun features are not always available, you need to time it for a Wet N Wild session which is usually held Wednesday afternoons, Thursday evenings and all afternoon on Saturdays. Of course during the summer holidays it's every day! Little Kingfishers is a nice little multi level adventure play facility tucked in near to the swimming pool. There is all the usual gubbins that kids love in here from the wobbly bridges to the slippery slides but with a few unusual bonuses like the Kingfisher Trail: a race around the climbing maze to find the Kingfisher's friends and beat the other person back! There are combo tickets available for doing both the swimming and the play, so if you've got the time and they've got the energy bring on a brilliant family day out!
