Attraction Information

Amongst a patchwork of pines, broadleaves and Douglas Fir trees, discover a whole world of high ropes at Go Ape Thetford - the very first Go Ape to open way back in 2002!

Looking for a high ropes course for younger kids? Look no further than Treetop Adventure, where the whole family can test their balance and bravery on a collection of crossings. Tarzan Swings, Stepping Stones and loads more await - all finished off with a thrilling zip wire back down to earth. Take on the Treetop Adventure Plus (1.2m+) and tackle even more daring crossings all before speeding down an epic 100-metre-long zip wire to finish.

For bigger and braver explorers, the Treetop Challenge is a firm step out of your comfort zone, with a range of treetop crossings to tackle. The dual high ropes course puts you in control of which route to take, but with Mallards Ladder, cargo nets and dual Tarzan Swings all lying in wait, you can rest assured that each provides the ultimate challenge. Don’t forget to explore the forest floor with a Forest Segway Experience too!

  • First Go Ape course to open
  • High ropes with a must-not-miss stirrup crossing
  • Forest Segway Adventure available too
Special COVID-19 safety measures, including limited group sizes, markers to help observe social distancing, hand washing stations and more, will be in place to keep you and your tiny monkeys safe during your Go Ape adventure. Learn more in the video below.
