South Angle Farm Park – Where Adventure, Learning & Laughter Come to Life
Nestled in the countryside just outside Soham (near Ely), South Angle Farm Park is a truly charming, family-run destination that blends fun, education, and community in one welcoming package. Small in size but full of heart, often referred to as a hidden gem, is specially designed for families with younger children—especially those under 8—who want to experience animals, nature, play, and hands-on learning in a safe and friendly setting.
🐴
Meet the Animals – Up Close and Personal
The stars of the farm are undoubtedly the animals! Visitors can meet and interact with a wide range of friendly residents—from classic farmyard favourites like goats, donkeys, sheep and pigs to more exotic and surprising creatures like snakes, tarantulas, tortoises, and bearded dragons. Many of the animals are rescued or rehomed, giving the farm an even more heartwarming purpose.
Children can stroke rabbits, feed goats, or take part in the handling sessions (which is always a hit). Every visit offers opportunities to learn about how the animals live, what they eat, and how they’re cared for—making it a fun and educational experience rolled into one.
🧒
Perfect for Under-8s
What really sets us apart is how we're geared towards younger children. Everything is at their level—literally and figuratively. There are indoor and outdoor play areas where little ones can explore at their own pace, from gentle walks in nature to sandpits and ride-on tractors. There’s no overwhelming commercial noise or big crowds—just space to play, learn, and feel right at home.
Parents love it for the stress-free layout and calm environment. Kids love it because every corner brings something new to see, touch, or try.
🎉
Seasonal Events All Year Round
One of the farm’s most popular features is its themed event, which run throughout school holidays and weekends. Whether it’s our Animal Discovery Summer, Bubble & Bounce, or the new Pumpkin Patch, there’s always something new on the calendar to make your visit extra memorable.
These events often include special crafts, trails, themed animal encounters, and photo opportunities!
🖐️
Interactive & Educational Fun
From animal talks to hands-on experiences, everything at South Angle Farm is designed to engage children’s natural curiosity. Curious about how reptiles shed their skin? Want to know how rabbits keep their teeth healthy? Fancy petting a lizard or holding a guinea pig? It’s all part of the day’s adventure.
The team are passionate about education and love to answer questions, making it a great trip for schools, nurseries, and home educators too.
☕
Relaxed Café & Picnic Spots
Need a break? The on-site farm café serves fresh food and drinks including barista coffees, pizzas, paninis and locally sourced cakes. There are gluten-free and vegan options available, and everything comes served in eco-friendly packaging—reflecting the farm’s commitment to sustainability.
If you prefer to bring your own snacks, there’s plenty of room to spread out with picnic blankets or make use of their indoor and outdoor seating areas.
🌱
A Place with Heart
What really makes South Angle Farm Park special is its friendly, personal atmosphere. The team truly care—not just about the animals, but about creating a space where families feel welcome, kids feel empowered to explore, and every visit feels like a warm return to somewhere familiar.
We also take pride in our eco-conscious efforts, using compostable packaging, recycling animal bedding into garden compost, and encouraging awareness of how we care for our environment.
