Sun’s out, weather’s gorgeous and you just want to spend the day outdoor? At Melford Country Park you’ll find over 8 hectares of grassland, woodland and lakes to explore. There’s plenty of space for your tots to run around and play, as well.

Take a long stroll on the 2-kilometre Melford Walk - it takes you along a former railway line, past old bridges and wooded valley. The views of the Long Melford village are stunning too! You can also go for a long walk along the riverfront of River Stour, on the west border of the park. Either way, a camera will come in handy!

Long Melford Country Park has plenty of picnic tables and benches. Just grab your picnic basket and your walking shoes, and come to the park for an awesome day out with the family!
