Visit Hilly Ridge Alpacas which is a small working farm. Get up close and go directly into the paddocks with alpacas and goats to hand feed them and stroke them and learn all about them and what we do here at the farm. Great experience for a family with young children and for older children we offer alpaca experience where you can go out for a walk with the alpacas through beautiful countryside while learning more about them and even take them around a fun obstacle course where there is a chance to win a Red Rosette.
For those curious about what makes alpacas so special, the experience also offers a chance to explore the story behind their luxurious fibre. You'll learn how alpaca fleece is carefully sheared and processed, and why it's so highly valued for its softness, warmth and sustainability.
