The Caves - Now with Immersive Projections
Step into one of the UK's largest show cave systems on a guided tour through ancient chambers sculpted over millions of years. Brand new for 2026, the caves now feature immersive light projections across three extraordinary chambers, bringing the geology, folklore and history of Wookey Hole vividly to life in ways never seen before. Wear sensible shoes - the cave floor can be uneven and wet in places.

The Mill Restaurant serves hot meals daily (mains £12-17, kids meals £6.50-8.50). The Ice Cream Parlour offers 25+ flavours including vegan and gluten-free. You're welcome to bring your own food.
Upcoming Events
Summer 2026 brings a full programme of family entertainment to Wookey Hole. The official Summer Holidays at Wookey Hole event includes the new immersive cave projection experience, Dinosaur Valley, adventure golf, the 4D cinema, soft play, museums and family entertainment across the site.
During Somerset school holidays and selected weekends, families can also enjoy Wookey Hole Circus, including the summer show The Seaside Special, which runs during the summer holiday period from 18 July to 2 September 2026, subject to the attraction’s schedule.
Magique Presents: Fire and Water is a separate evening magic and illusion show at Wookey Hole Theatre. It is not included in standard day admission and must be booked separately.

New immersive cave projections
Step inside one of the UK’s most famous cave systems and experience Wookey Hole like never before. The caves now feature a brand-new immersive projection experience, using light, storytelling and atmosphere to bring the Witch of Wookey Hole, ancient geology and cave history to life underground.
One ticket, a full family day out
A standard Wookey Hole day ticket includes much more than the caves. Families can enjoy Dinosaur Valley, Adventure Golf, the 4D cinema, Mirror Maze, museum exhibits, indoor soft play and seasonal entertainment. During Somerset school holidays and selected weekends, Wookey Hole Circus shows are also included, subject to availability.

Peak season hours usually apply during Somerset school holidays and weekends from April, with first admission from 9.30am, last admission at 3.30pm and attractions closing at 5.00pm. Off-peak hours usually apply Monday to Friday outside school holidays, with first admission from 10am, last admission at 3pm and attractions closing at 4.30pm. Always check your selected visit date before travelling.
