Redpoint Bristol
Bristol, Somerset and BristolAbout Redpoint Bristol
Welcome to Redpoint Bristol, your new favourite climbing wall in Bristol! Located in the heart of Bedminster, we’re easily accessible, ensuring your adventure arrives as soon as you do.
Our Facilities: We’re a mixed climbing centre with lead climbing walls, top rope areas, auto-belays, and boulders. Our climbing walls are split across several rooms and floors of an old cinema! We also have a specially designed bouldering zone for little ones, a lower, less intimidating room for rope climbing, and our huge steep comp lead wall and impressive stalactite feature in the heart of the centre. To cater for boulders and those keen to train, we have four separate bouldering rooms, ranging from comp style problems to slabs and a deep, steep cave – as well as a digital 45-degree training board, circuit boards and a stretching/gym area. We also house a different type of climbing adventure in the building with Crazy Climb Bristol! This is an adventure activity room full of climbing and obstacle challenges.
Refresh Yourself: To keep you fuelled up and full of beans, we’ve got a wonderful café in the building, serving hot food, delicious pizzas, expertly brewed barista coffee plus cakes, beers and shakes!
Climbing For Everyone: We are designed with all climbers in mind – whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned pro climber looking for top-notch facilities and world-class routes. We strive to provide challenges and an amazing time for all, regardless of skill level or experience.
Community and Support: For those new to climbing in Bristol, our friendly staff and welcoming community offer a supportive environment to get you on your way and enjoying yourself at our walls.
Always Something New: Our routes are always changing to keep things fresh, with our setters in once or twice each week to strip and reset large areas. With over 300 routes and 100 boulders, we promise you won’t run out of climbs to challenge yourself on!
So Much Climbing!
We have hundreds of different routes to try, from beginner and child-friendly top-ropes to overhanging and imposing World Cup-style lead routes and everything in between! Climbing on your own? We have 4 bouldering rooms and several auto-belays for you. Want to train? We have a gym area, campus boards and a digital training board to help you work on your strength and power! Climbing in a group? We've got loads of different walls of varying heights and styles, so there will always be something for you.
We specialise in turning non climbers into climbers
If you've never climbed before, we've got options for you!
Start out with one of our Taster Sessions: Your instructor will take you “top-roping”, where you can climb walls up to 12m high while kept secure with a rope and held by your friends (and your instructor) below. You will also get on to the “bouldering walls” which are much shorter challenges over a crash mat.
Looking for more?
Try our Beginners Climbing Course: This two-day split course will cover harnesses, belaying (holding the ropes as your friends climb), climbing knots and basic climbing techniques. Plus, you'll get 2 weeks of FREE climbing and FREE kit hire after you complete it!
Relax in the Café
We've got you covered with mouthwatering pizzas, the best coffee in Bristol, local beers, delicious sweet treats, and healthy salad boxes!
Fuel up before or during your climb so you've got enough energy to try hard and have fun. Then, unwind after your session, recap your favourite sends, and plan your next climbing trip, all while enjoying a refreshing beer or soft drink.
