About Hengrove Park

Hengrove Park is a large open space that includes the biggest free Play Park in the south of England (4 acres!), plus a Wheels park for BMX riders and skateboarders! It is open all year and free to visit.

Kids will absolutely love the epic Play Park, with something to amuse all ages. There is a Sand and Water play area for younger children (under 1m in height) to enjoy, with water features, sandpit, plus buckets and spades! The Toddler's Area also has a sandpit, plus a playhouse, baby swings, safety slide, a pirate ship and more!

For those wanting to relax or maybe shoot some hoops, there is a Ball Games and Chill Out zone, and the more active kids will love the Challenge zone, with climbing pyramid, fireman's pole, climbing wall, and giant hamster wheel to name but a few features! There is also a 12m Jungle Dome, with a world of tunnels, slides, webs and suspended cages to explore, and a Teen zone with a 20m zip slip, spinning discs, plus a Mobilus (a seesaw for those with strong stomachs!).
