Pop on your pirate hat and get that hook out of storage - the Winchester Treasure Trail needs salty sea dogs on the hunt for buried loot, and you’re just the seafarers for the job.
Rather than a classic treasure map, this route calls for a PDF. It’s instantly downloadable which makes for easy-peasy adventuring, plus it’s packed with hints which will lead you all over town on the hunt for clues. These will be craftily disguised on statues and signposts though so keep those peepers peeled!
The route should take around 2 hours to complete so once you’ve dug up the (fictional) treasure, be sure to explore. Winchester has some pretty spectacular sights like Winchester College or the historic Cathedral. A favourite with kids though has to be Wolvesey Castle though where you and your youngins can draw swords and take to the battlements!
