Fun Activities for Thrill Seekers
It’s home to some of the trickier Go Ape adventures, so be ready to channel your wild side and conquer them all! After a safety briefing and demonstrations - where you can practise! You'll be on the way to your Go Ape experience and tree-high physical fun!
If you’ve got little kids, swing into action on Treetop Adventure. Keeping family in mind, this high-rope adventure has no age limit! So, even your tots can have a go, as long as they’re over one metre tall. There’s plenty to keep them busy up there, from wobbly bridges, and intricate crossing straight to a speedy 100m+ zip-wire ride! Don't forget to take in the breathtaking scenery.
At a knee-knocking 12m high, Treetop Challenge is one of the biggest high-ropes courses in Southern England. Add to that 440 acres of woodland, 40 crossings, and a giant 250m long speedy zip wire: it all equals up to an award-winning day out! Perfect for those looking for a dose of thrill and wanting to tackle tricky tree-high crossings and tree-top outdoor adventures.
Ready to channel your inner warrior? Axe Throwing is not just the perfect stress reliever but bags of fun. Get ready to enjoy the thrill of flinging an axe at a target in the great outdoors, as you aim for the all-important bullseye.
Completing your ultimate forest adventure, why don't you explore the beautiful woodland? With 440 acres of water meadows, woodland trails and outdoor activities to get stuck into, you'll enjoy lots of laughter out in the open!
You'll also find an adventure playground with animal sculptures to discover.

Need to refuel? No worries, head to the Woodland Café for some tasty food and refreshments! Or plan ahead and pack a picnic! You can enjoy it on one of their many picnic benches.
Travelling & Parking
By car:
From the West: Exit the M27 at junction 5 and take the 2nd exit on the roundabout, signposted Eastleigh A335, then follow brown tourist signs to Itchen Valley Country Park.
From the North: Follow the M3, joining the M27 Eastbound towards Portsmouth. Exit the M27 at junction 5 and take the 2nd exit on the roundabout, then follow the brown tourist signs to Itchen Valley Country Park.
From the East: Exit the M27 at junction 7. From junction 7, take the first exit, signposted Southampton A334, then the 3rd exit at the next roundabout, signposted West End A27, and follow brown tourist signs to Itchen Valley Country Park.
From Southampton: Head towards Southampton Airport. Join the A27 and follow brown tourist signs to Itchen Valley Country Park.
From Eastleigh: Take the A355 to Southampton airport. Follow brown tourist signs to Itchen Valley Country Park, past the airport onto A27.
